You’ve all heard of so many success stories about businesses making it really good in the internet. While some are succeeding, many have unsuccessfully launched a business enterprise on the internet.
This is why I always ask myself…..Is this through luck or what? That is even more remote. It takes good business sense and a lot of help and team effort. Most importantly, it is the eagerness to succeed and the determination to learn and the willingness to invest in a lot of hard work and some money that will make you a success.
One Thing That Will Guarantee Your Blogging Success
This is certainly no longer a new topic but, it’s still one of the most tedious work when it comes to blogging. What is it? TRAFFIC. No, this is not another How To Get Traffic Post 🙂 so, lets move on. If you really want to succeed with your blog then, it’s about time you start finding out how to drive traffic to your blog.
Without traffic, all your effort would just be a waste. Every business needs customers, without them you wouldn’t have anyone to sell your products to. In the internet world traffic is the walk in customer. The more traffic you have the more people would be able to sell your products to.

However, like any business that is in every corner building or in the mall, not everyone that goes in will buy, but the greater of number that do come in to browse your merchandise, the greater number of people that will buy your products. It is a simple and known fact.
But, how do you get traffic? Traffic large enough that could make a small percentage of eventual buyers enough to make a good profit. Many big companies generate traffic of tens of thousands a day and a measly ten to fifteen percent actually buys, but that small percentage is enough to provide them with good business.
Some of these success stories get their traffic from paying others. Yes that’s right; you have to spend money to make money. Advertising is the key. The more people that knows that your site exists; the more people would of course go to your site, that’s common sense.
While there are many ways that can get you advertising for free, this do not generate the same high volume as those methods that are getting paid. But the question now is, will you go for paid traffic when there are many good free traffic sources?
As I said above, there are many good free traffic sources that many content writers has written about before which is all over the internet. Just perform a search on Google for Free Traffic Sources and, you will certainly be amazed at the number of articles you will see.
But with all those tips that people have written about before which only few of them works, it becomes really difficult to separate the Wheat from the Chaff.
So, what then is the way out? The fact remains that traffic is the life blood of any internet based business and it’s of utmost important for you to be getting enough of it in order to succeed. So, the best thing now is simply to try as many as you can and then see which ones will work on your favour and when you find the ones that do, focus on them and continue using them to generate more and more traffic.
Remember to also try and see if you can device a traffic source of your own and don’t always be following others unless you want to be like them. That’s all I have to say for now and, I hope you get the main point :).
Please, share with us your own best traffic sources via the comment section and, don’t forget to tweet and share this post with your friends…… Lets make it viral :).
Have a very great weekend ahead :).

Hi Theodore,
I agree with you there – there are numerous sites on the Internet about the way you can make money and about how to gain traffic to your blog, which eventually makes your blogs read and succeed. It does become really tough to make out which one to choose from all of those. Like you mentioned, you have to keep trying them all out one my one, or go by what the experts recommend, which again depends on who you listen to.
I usually go for what’s being said commonly by a lot of top bloggers perhaps, and if I try it and I don’t like it, I am quick to switch over too to something that I like. That’s just to save time, though earlier it was trying each one myself, but it’s not possible to try each thing yourself due to the lack of time as well.
Nevertheless, it’s ultimately your hard work, efforts, dedication, and persistence that pays off in the end, isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day 🙂
Theodore Nwangene says
That’s the fact Leena,
Hard work really pays indeed and that’s why we should always work harder and smarter :). I also like to try some of the things that others recommended and just like you, anyone that does not seem to be working for me, i simply ditch it and try something else.
We all have to keep on trying until we’re able to find what works for us.
Thanks a lot for stopping over Leena and, happy new month :).

Theodore, thanks for reminding us of the importance of traffic. Traffic is the life blood of every online business, be it personal blog, business blog or other forms of branding. If you ignore traffic, then you have to be prepared for failure because without it, it is difficult for anyone to know about you and also difficult for you to make any sales.
I am already playing with different sources of traffic to see what works best. Thank God I am discovering new things and getting positive results as well.
Thanks once again. Do have a great and pleasant weekend.

Rahul Pahal says
hey Theodore,
You revealed a very obvious fact in this post. no blog on this earth can considered to be successful if it does not receive a good traffic. you write a fab content, what is the use if there is no one to read it. I can say, we should spend 30% of time in writing and rest 70% in promoting it and bringing the traffic.
Theodore Nwangene says
Hey Rahul,
I can’t agree more on this word of yours “30% of time in writing and rest 70% in promoting it and bringing the traffic” because, if every blogger will be doing that then, the amount of traffic will be enormous. Thanks for coming :).
Mi Muba says
I think recipe for blogging success is same but we cook it differently and that is why we get a different dish but eventually it tastes delicious. In blogging great content is a cliche, smart SEO is buzzword, social media sharing is talk of the town but smart implementation on all of them is the really formula of success. Those who do that are the real winners and for that obviously consistency and patience are the most essential requirements.
