Social media marketing is one of the best ways to gain attention for your business, services, or whatever it is you want to advertise. It is a dynamic and more personalized form of marketing that allows you to reach users via social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, etc.
If you are an app developer, a great marketing technique is to use both a mobile and social ad network, such as appnext.com, to help you make the most money from your app and generate traffic through in-app advertising. These ad networks can help you cover all of your social media advertising needs.
In addition to ad networks, however, you may be wondering what apps are best for making social media marketing easier. Below are five examples:

Mobile Apps for Easier Social Media Marketing
1 – Feedly – This app helps you to catch up on blog posts at your leisure and when you are on the go. Even if you subscribe to several blogs, Feedly gives you the ability to view all of them. It has a nice user interface that makes reading comfortable. Furthermore, if you read content you want to share, this app allows you to post it to the social network of your choosing.
2 – Tweetbot – This is an app for iPhone that helps the user to effectively manage Twitter. This app has many useful features. One thing it does is it allows you to filter out retweets, which is very handy if you receive thousands of retweets on a blog post, for instance. It also allows you to take action on tweets via your smartphone with greater ease.
3- Mention – This is a social media mobile app that allows the user to keep track of the mention of certain keywords or your brand name. You can view these mentions directly via the mobile apps or through email. At your convenience, you can quickly and easily monitor keywords and respond to mentions. This is a highly functional app, especially for the mobile user who has limited time and who needs to make the most of every minute.
4 – Downcast – Downcast is essentially an app that allows you to conveniently sign up to listen to the top social media marketing podcasts. This app can be used as an effective tool for marketing your business. Downcast is available for iPhone, the Android alternative for this app is called Onecast.
5 – Glyder – This iPhone app is particularly useful for small businesses and has been designed to simplify social media marketing. If the user is unsure of what image or content to share, Glyder helps to make this process easier. For instance, when you want to share or send out a message to your networks when you are on your smartphone, all you need to do is select the template that Glyder provides and add it to your custom messaging and then you can post to your preferred social network.
Other great apps for social media include: Vine, Currents, Fliboard, and HootSuite.

Hi Theodore,
Informative apps indeed 🙂
Well, I’m not the right person to comment about these apps as I rarely use any of them, nor am I much on the iPhone because I am forever working on my Laptop, so everything can be managed from it and all my friend’s I can catch up with here itself! Nevertheless, I do use Feedly and find it a great help to take care of all the posts I need to catch up with.
Other than that, I’ve tried MarketMeSuite earlier, but then switched to HooteSuite and that is a big help to keep sending out my tweets, even when I am actually not sending them…lol…I guess I better become a little tech savvy and check out the rest too as you mentioned them here.
Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Hello Theodore,
The list is sure a very well crafted one. I am familiar with most of them. Just like Harleena, I do most of my stuffs on my PC. I haven’t really been a good friend to my phone in the last few months 🙂 but it is sure a life saver when you need to quickly fix some issues and respond to comments.
I don’t have an iPhone but I will definitely try Onecast for Android. I trust your judgement on this I am guessing it will deliver what it promises.
Do have a nice day friend 🙂
Theodore Nwangene says
Thanks Nosa,
I also love working with my laptop but like you said, those mobile apps can really be a life saver sometimes so, its good to keep them close :). Onecast is also good, just check it out and let me know your experience.

Hey Theodore,
I am not particularly a fan of smartphones (I am a laptop guy, so not much use with these apps). But, I do love testing out new things, and I am sure that there are tablet counterparts to these apps? I could test them out, and see how it goes. If it goes well, I can include it in my routine?
I do love Feedly. I moved to Feedly mainly because of habituation; I got tired of Google Reader (Well, in the end, I had to make the move permanent, since G reader was shutdown).
Anyways, I appreciate you sharing these apps, Theodore 🙂 Thanks!
